StilinBerlin explores the style of Berlin. We try to document the urban, cosmopolitan and multicultural spirit of the city, we live in.
Fashion can describe what a city is, so we take photos of outfits that stand out and capture that spirit within them. We hope you enjoy the Berlin style as much as we do.

What is StilinBerlin
Stil in Berlin is a blog-project documenting street fashion. One can see great styles among berlin people every day. They all have a talent to fuse high fashion, vintage and selfmade clothes into a very interesting mix of colors, shapes and materials.
Why do you do this?
Inspired by other sites in the bigger cities (NY, Tokyo, Paris etc.), we made the plan for this project. And since Berlin has a lot stylish people it all started rolling.
Where do you take your pictures?
Daytime shooting mostly takes place in Berlin Mitte, around Alte Schönhauser Straße. At night we take pictures in different clubs.
How do you choose?
The selection is totally spontaneous and subjective. We just take pictures of people we recognize... we take a close 2nd look at their outfit, and if they "survive" this 2nd look we'll ask them.
How are the reactions?
Mostly positive, only a few refuse to be photographed.
What camera do you use?
We use a Canon EOS 350D (aka Digital Rebel XT), and a Nikon D40.
